Rubbery

Rubbery: A distinct sensory descriptor characterizing the aroma and flavor reminiscent of hot tires, rubber bands, or vulcanized rubber. While generally considered an undesirable taint or defect in specialty Arabica coffees, a rubbery characteristic is common, highly recognizable, and often accepted as a standard regional trait in certain commercial origins, particularly in fresh or low-altitude Robustas (Coffea canephora).
