Cup of Excellence

Cup of Excellence: A prestigious annual competition and auction program organized in coffee-producing countries by the Alliance for Coffee Excellence (ACE) to identify, grade, and reward the highest-quality coffees of a harvest season. Evaluated through rigorous, blind cupping protocols by national and international juries, coffees scoring 87 points or higher (out of 100) earn the official Cup of Excellence title and advance to a global online auction, while lots scoring 90 points or above receive the prestigious Presidential Award.
